How to Assemble Your Hook & Ring Toss Game

1. Getting Started

Remove all parts from the carry bag before assembly.


2. What’s Included

  • 1 Base
  • 1 Post
  • 1 Roof
  • 2 Pieces of Rope
  • 2 Hooks
  • 2 Rings
  • 2 Eye Hooks
  • 1 Wooden Score Keeper
  • 1 Black Screw
  • 1 Allen Wrench
  • 4 Rubber Feet
  • 1 Carry Bag

3. Assembly Instructions

  1. Install the Eye Hooks
    • Screw the two eye hooks into the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the roof.
  2. Install the Hooks
    • Screw the two metal hooks into the pre-drilled holes on the front of the post.
  3. Attach the Rings
    • Tie one ring to the end of each rope.
  4. Connect the Post to the Base
    • Tighten the post onto the base using the black screw and the included Allen wrench.
  5. Attach the Roof
    • Secure the roof to the top of the post.
    • Make sure the roof and base are aligned, with the hooks on the post facing outward.
  6. Connect the Ropes
    • Place the rings onto the hooks.
    • Take the loose end of each rope and tie it securely to the eye hooks under the roof.
    • The rings should still be removable from the hooks once the ropes are tied.
  7. Add the Score Keeper
    • Place the wooden score piece on top of the roof, covering the Elakai logo.
    • This marks the starting position for gameplay.

🎯 Objective

Land the ring on the hook more times than your opponent — and do it faster.


🕹️ Game Modes

1. Best of Ten

  • Both players begin swinging at the same time.
  • The first player to successfully hook their ring moves the wooden score slider one slot toward their opponent’s side.
  • Play continues with both players swinging simultaneously.
  • The game ends when the wooden scorer moves completely off the opponent’s last scoring slot and is removed from the roof.
  • The player who forces the scorer off the opponent’s side wins.
