The Puzzle
Arrange the 54 wooden Mountain Blocks to reveal the full puzzle image shown below.
Tower Game Rules
Use your 54 wooden Giant Mountain Blocks to build and play a classic stacking tower game.
1. Building the Tower
- Choose a player to build the initial tower.
- Create the tower using all 54 blocks.
- Each story of the tower is made by placing three blocks side by side.
- Alternate each story between horizontal and vertical orientation.
- When construction is complete, the tower should be 18 stories tall.
2. Playing the Game
- After the tower is built, players take turns removing one block from anywhere below the highest complete story.
- The removed block is then placed on top of the tower to begin or add to a new story.
- Players must complete a three-block story before starting a new one above it.
3. Hand Rules
- Players may use only one hand to remove and stack blocks.
- Blocks may be gently tested to see how loose or tight they are.
- You do not have to remove the first block you touch.
- If a block is jarred or moved out of place, it must be returned to its original position using the same hand.
4. Turn Timing
- Your turn ends when:
- The next player touches a block, or
- 10 seconds have passed after you place your block on top of the tower.
Winning the Game
- The last player to successfully place a block on top of the tower before it falls is the winner.
- The player who knocks over the tower has the honor of setting up the next round.
- The player who originally built the tower takes the first turn, with play continuing clockwise.
